Voyage of Verse is created and edited by Ondine Goedhuis, a current sophomore at the Winsor School in Boston.  Like many young children, Ondine spent many hours enjoying the books of Dr. Seuss. Her love of verse and interest in poetry came to be upon her reading of Horton Hears a Who! and recognizing the significance and power of the line “a person’s a person, no matter how small”. Ondine pens poems on her daily commute to school. She is currently perusing the transformative poems of Ocean Vuong. Ondine enjoys writing and editing for her school newspaper, and recently attended the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop. Her writing has been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.
